Ochenuell Mobility training sessions are prepared to meet the dynamic knowledge needs of industry and with best practice content that is tailored to address local situation. Our team is a combination of external and internal experts and consulting engineers, cognate transport experts in the different areas and managers of industry relating to transport. These experts are both local and international and are deployed on the basis of collective decisions reached with our clients. While these 10 modules are in force, we design cognate modules to fit the needs of our clients when the needs arise. Our goal is to see transformation of our mobility systems to benefit man, his earth, the entities, and the economy across Africa. The modules include:

1. Policy And Regulatory Environment for Developing Sustainable Transport

This module covers critical policy and regulatory issues that ensures the development, management and sustainability of the transport system, for a country, state/region/province and cities alike. It also serves the purpose of institutions and commercial transport entities. What policies do you need, how do you develop it. What regulatory frameworks and enforcement systems can be put in place and how do you develop them?

2. Sustainable Transport Cultures

Sustainable transport has six critical components, which includes safety, affordability, accessibility, resilience, minimized carbon foot print and gender and diversity. Entrenching this culture in the staff and system practices requires dedicated knowledge. This knowledge we provide through this module.

3. Managing Road Safety and Workplace Health, Safety And Environment

Road safety is a huge concern for countries, cities and transport entities. From direct road crashes involving your vehicles to managing losses and the victim, to paying compensation and insurance, but more importantly, operating crash free, and it ever occurs, no life is lost. Similarly, work places are bedeviled by avoidable health and safety concerns even when there are provided systems and process to prevent their occurrence. How do we effectively implement systems to keep personnel and customers safe and save the image of the entity?

4. Transport Digitization and Electrification

Changes in the transport industry are as rapid as human breath owing to digitization and innovations. The unprecedented concerns faced in the industry from the past centuries have called for automation of systems and processes to enable speed, data, accuracy and efficiency of delivery. How can you align your goals with digitization to deliver your expected results? How can Intelligent Transport System help in off-board fare collection, data acquisition and management, information management and digital customer experience? The module also covers vehicle electrification with the pros and cons of it along with far reaching recommendations.

5. Public Transport Corridors and Terminal Designs, Operations and Management

Drawing from practical experiences of our team and the universal access design principles, we provide capacity building for key actors in the design, development and management of transport corridors, terminals and stops. This includes last mile dings and connectivity to ensure effective patronage of the public transport service.

6. Public Transport Operations

From route determination, fleet distribution, fare collection to effective monitoring, we provide training on how to effectively manage transport operations to ensure quality and customer satisfaction yet with profitable outcome. This also include stakeholder collaborations such as effective engagement with competing entities such as informal operators, sister agencies and other critical stakeholders which role affects the success of your system.

7. Fleet Management

The dynamism in transport operations coupled with the regulatory demands requires that fleet operations are effectively managed in a manner that will guarantee customer satisfaction, profitability and sustainability. This we bring to bear in this module and we provide the knowledge technical support from fleet administrative setting to fleet acquisition, operations and maintenance.

8. Drivers Training

Ochenuell Mobility delivers exceptional drivers proficiency training that has been adjudged the best in terms of content, quality of delivery and style. Developed by best experts who have local and international experiences, the curriculum is packaged in 3 principal modules; these are in addition to providing tailored training to meet organizational goals. Each module contains at least 8 presentations delivered in 3 consecutive days or more. Each module has the options of practical hands on, one on counseling session with drivers, physical fitness and medical examinations. The 3 modules are apart from special short courses on security and intelligence in the driving environment, trucking and hazardous content driving, and amongst others. The main modules are:

• Basic: This deals with defensive driving technics and understanding of regulatory and enforcement tools of the security and safety agencies, road crashes and prevention
• Intermediate: Advancing technologies in vehicles and traffic systems, work place culture, professional ethics and security consciousness in the driving environment
• Advance: The person, character and descipline of the driver, his emotional intelligence, relationship management and financial managements

9. Parking and Parking Reforms

Cities and transport authorities are confronted with unprecented concern about parking as vehicles liter the cities, choke business and administrative premises in our cities. How do we effectively address this? Ochenuell mobility provides trainings on parking management, digitization, infrastructure and policies for effective parking system and more. This module is further broken down into the following 3, each containing between 4 to 6 specific topics:

• Sustainable parking management policy, regulations and enforcement system
• Parking operations, fee management and automation in a digitizing world
• Parking infrastructure design, development and management

10. Managerial Strategic Session and Work Process Development

We help transport and related entities develop strategic visions, periodic goals and set targets to achieve the overall objectives of the entity, this includes work process development and staff target setting. This may optionally include external staff performance appraisal and internal systems evaluation and possible reforms.
